Amanda Berry, LMFT
Psychotherapist & Founder
Amanda is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, focusing on helping couples and individuals achieve the fulfilling relationships that they deserve! She is qualified to work with clients in treating the relationship issues that take them from being in happy, exciting partnerships to feeling lonely, disconnected, chaotic or hurt.
Through extensive training, a sense of humor, and a warm, personable therapy style, Amanda’s goal is to provide you with the insight and practical tools you need to set realistic expectations for your relationship and nurture it back to life. If you’re not in a relationship, but struggling with depression, anxiety, sadness from a betrayal, breakup, and more, Amanda will provide guidance through these difficult transitions as well. Depending on what you’re dealing with, you might be seeking help for yourself (in individual therapy) or as a couple (together in couples therapy). Either way, your problems can be addressed and changed with the right mindset and tool set! After spending some time gathering information about you and your history/current struggles, Amanda will help you determine whether you are seeking support and insight, an actionable plan (or both!) and tailor therapy to help address your most important needs.
Many clients are surprised to learn that there is a boatload of research on relationship satisfaction that can help guide their progress! Amanda will give you access to this as well as work with you in the room each week on using skills to help you figure out how to be healthier, feel happier, more grounded, and more fulfilled.
Amanda is trained to treat individuals and couples experiencing relationship problems in a unique way; our relationships exist within a cycle of interactions – some that we can change and some that we can learn to accept. She strives to provide safety while exploring difficult issues in session – and, at the same time, will challenge you to work towards change by applying what you do in sessions in the outside world. Don’t wait – call today and get the help you need! A little more about Amanda:
