Tracy Presser, LPC
Creating a space where you feel heard and validated is my goal as a therapist. I provide a safe and nonjudgmental environment by using empathy, authenticity, and humor. Taking the time to build a genuine connection is important. I believe in working collaboratively and finding the style of therapy that works best for your needs. I can support you through your therapeutic journey by exploring challenging topics, introducing tools, and identifying patterns.
I am passionate about my work with clients to help them strengthen their relationships and cultivate meaningful changes in their life; in particular, I love working with couples who want to repair after infidelity, improve communication skills and manage conflict more effectively. And, with women who struggle with self-esteem, anxiety management, and dating or relationship issues.
Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and I will collaborate with you to find the best approach for your unique situation. I strongly believe in the importance of both identifying feelings and connecting the dots in your life, and, teaching tools and skills to help you make changes. Much of my work is informed by CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), where we can work to reframe your thinking and behaviors to create positive change.
My primary goal is to provide a safe space for you to process emotions, traumas, and experiences. I strive to offer fresh perspectives on your concerns, showing you the many ways to view and address them.
I am ready to help and encourage you to reach out and begin this journey with me!
