I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who obtained my Masters in Social Work from Loyola University of Chicago. I am passionate about working with individuals and partnerships to help my clients uncover their strengths and build skills to navigate their relationships with themselves and others. I became a therapist because of my love for people and the space that therapy creates – it truly doesn’t exist anywhere else!
When you sit down for an individual or couples therapy session, you are the sole focus. In my work with individuals and couples navigating relationship issues, I have consistently experienced therapy as a place where people are affirmed and empowered. I believe both are essential to healing, encountering new challenges, and thriving.
I utilize a sense of humor, mindfulness, and compassion in therapy sessions. My goal in therapy is to create a space that is free from judgment so we can explore together any issues that come up (nothing is off limits!). I believe that any problem or relationship issue is worth exploring. When we begin to explore the things that cause tension internally or externally, we are able to name them so we can move past them and have more compassionate and fulfilling relationships with ourselves and others. Throughout the therapy process, we will be working together to build new skill sets that will help you better navigate old and new issues in your life.
